Some examples of apocryphal books include the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary, the Infancy Gospel of James, the Acts of Paul and Thecla, and the Apocalypse of Peter. **

My favorite apocryphal text is the Gospel of Thomas. This text contains a collection of sayings attributed to Jesus, and it offers a unique perspective on his teachings. I find it fascinating to explore the additional insights and wisdom that this text provides, and it offers a different lens through which to understand the life and teachings of Jesus. The Gospel of Thomas also sparks interesting discussions about the diversity of early Christian beliefs and the formation of the biblical canon. **

Apocryphal Gospels are writings that are not included in the canonical Bible. While some apocryphal Gospels contain valuable historical and cultural information, they are not considered true in the same way as the canonical Gospels. These texts were not included in the official canon of the Bible for various reasons, such as theological inconsistencies or lack of historical reliability. Therefore, it is important to approach apocryphal Gospels with caution and critical analysis. **

The book of Ezekiel is not considered apocryphal. It is actually part of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament. It is considered a canonical text in both Judaism and Christianity. The book of Ezekiel is a prophetic book that contains visions and prophecies attributed to the prophet Ezekiel, and it is recognized as a significant part of the religious and historical literature of both Judaism and Christianity. **

Some of the most well-known apocryphal texts include the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary, the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, the Acts of Paul and Thecla, and the Apocalypse of Peter. These texts are considered apocryphal because they were not included in the canonical Bible and are not considered to be divinely inspired by all Christian traditions. However, they provide valuable insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christian communities and have been the subject of scholarly study and debate. **

Apocryphal writings are texts that are of doubtful authenticity or authorship, often not included in the official canon of a religious tradition. These writings may have been excluded from the official canon for various reasons, such as theological disagreements or lack of historical evidence. On the other hand, Gnostic writings are a specific category of apocryphal texts that were associated with the Gnostic movement in early Christianity. These writings often contain mystical and esoteric teachings, and were not included in the official canon due to their divergent theological perspectives. **
